NEW YORK, New York (July 16, 2007) – The nation’s largest new-model auto show producer, Motor Trend Auto Shows, Inc. (MTAS) is pleased to announce that Lauren Holzman has been promoted to vice president, public relations.
In her 11 years with the company, Holzman has been responsible for overseeing the public relations campaigns on behalf of the 23 MTAS auto shows, as well as implementing cross-promotions and strategic partnerships. In addition, Lauren has provided support and guidance to other events in the Enthusiast Media portfolio, including the ten Lowrider events. Headquartered in San Diego, Calif., she reports to John Marriott, MTAS senior vice president and general manager.

From strategic planning and media relations to securing news stories and coordinating promotions, Lauren has developed, managed and implemented public relations programs for a wide range of clients. A specialist in auto shows and consumer events, Lauren began her career as an account executive for Phillips-Ramsey Advertising Agency, and later at Bailey/Gardiner Creative Communications, Inc. During this time, she represented clients ranging from Tiffany & Co. and the ARCO Olympic Training Center to WD-40 and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.
A graduate of San Diego State University, Lauren resides in San Diego, Calif.
